![]() ![]() I think we both feel the same about software piracy in general.īut where I begin to disagree is, if Denuvo is untouchable but ultimately does not result in the game not being stolen, how does this extra expense to developers and possible risk to honest consumers actually help anybody besides Denuvo? I may be misunderstanding some of what you say but it seems like, in Denuvo's case anyway, it's being bypassed but not cracked and people are still illegally downloading games. I honestly can't find much to disagree with in most of your last reply, except maybe towards the end. Not the programmers, game developers, or publishers. Take it out on the ones that put it there. Wait until they really take the ability away from pirates. Denuvo is just the start, and a harmless software mechanic. People stole games, publishers seeked out ways to counter that action with software anti-tamper. ![]() (Apologies for mass snipping of good text.)
